Oh! I am so pleased. I have been trying for 30 years to make my mother-in-law's Hungarian goulash just like she did. I had it down so that it tasted pretty close but it was missing something. NOW, I am proud to say that I think my Hungarian goulash is even better. That Red Gold Hot piros arany paprika cream was the missing ingredient. Making the goulash as you told me Bill without the water has helped so much. My Hungarian mother-in-law only cooked two things-baked chicken (plain) and her Hungarian goulash. Now that she has passed on, my husband is thrilled that we finally got it right. Thank you SO MUCH. I also like to add the Red Hot and the goulash cream hot paprika mix csipos (sp?) to many of my soups. Just gives it the extra boost of taste. Can't thank you enough. Glad I continued my search on the Internet to find this product here in the US. Some Hungarian friends we met in Iowa told me about this sauce but they picked up cases when they revisited Hungary. Hi Bill

 When Christine and I were traveling in Hungary, we were invited to the home of a Budapest family for lunch. The lady of the house had prepared a typical Hungarian meal, which was Chicken Papricash. It was so delicious that we begged for the recipe, which we received. We brought back to the US, several tubes of the required Paprika Paste. All our friends were treated to that wonderful dish at home and we soon found out that this paste was not available in any upscale grocery stores in the States. Luckily we found your product on line and the feast continues. We have given your e-mail address to several of our friends so that they also can enjoy your wonderful products.

We began offering Univer products in our store at the end of 2008 and over the time span of a few months we have tripled sales. No small wonder, as the lineup sells itself. By its simple, elegant and practical packaging, versatility of use as well as delicious textures and flavors, Univer's products garnered accolades without exception from our customers who tried them. What surprised us was the unusual immediate acceptance of every member of the lineup, i.e.: paprika, horseradish, mayonnaise, goulash creme, mustard, garlic creme as manifestation of a superior product line with excellent quality. Funny thing was, and I'm a little ashamed to admit it, customers were coming back in droves before I took some home and started using them myself. Better late than before they're all gone from the shelves.

Wow!!! Customer Service!!!!   I am VERRRRRRRY Impressed. :)   Go right ahead and ship from your present inventory with the 2/09 dates.  As you say this is NOT a spoil date but a "Suggested" sell by date. I own a seminar company and we specialize in Customer service training. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to experience a TEXT BOOK instance of  EXCELLENCE in Customer service.  Wow!!!   I am sure the small quantity  I ordered will be just fine past the SSD.  I MAY be able to freeze the unused portion.  If not the cost is NOT prohibitive.  I have a recipe for Goulash from a relative that was translated from the original language that calls for it.  I had NOT so much as heard of such a thing until I began an online search.  I am pleased I found you and excited to try your products.  Again, thank you for your EXCELLENT customer service regarding such a small order. Dear Univer,

 

I am so excited about discovering your fine products that I have to write and tell you.  I have made so many great recipe's that there are never any leftovers after dinner. My kids are eating all the vegetables and even the fish dishes are eaten until it's all gone.  I worked in a gourmet Hungarian restaurant and can tell you that I can make dishes as good as they did.  Univer has blended all the ingredients with the right proportions so everything comes out just right.  The best thing is that it is so easy to use.  I'm hooked for life!

Dear Mr. Monsour,

 

Please pardon the delay in our acknowledging the receipt of the package of your products to replace the package that had been damaged by the express company.

 

We received E-Mail notice the package had been sent, but did not spot that it had been sent to our Illinois address. (We were in Pennsylvania at the time)  We expected to receive it before we left for Florida, but the package, of course, unknown to us, did arrive in Illinois and was taken in by a neighbor.  

 

We arrived back in Illinois yesterday, and were very pleased to receive the package from our neighbor.

 

First, we want to thank you for the quick, unhesitating and generous replacement of the package. We would have been pleased if just the damaged items had been replaced, but you went beyond expectations in replacing the entire package. That was very generous and shows that Univer Foods is outstanding in their concern for their customers. However, what really impressed us was the positive attitude you displayed in the entire transaction. The inclusion of recipes was a really nice addition. (However, we doubt that the "homemade" replacement for your Paprika Cream would come close to the quality of your product!)

 

We have used your products three times for dinne rs we served friends. The results were outstanding. One couple reported that they had goulash at a famous restaurant in nearby Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and that it was not nearly as good as the meal they had with us. Since we make no great claims as a cooks, we must give the majority of the credit to the wonderful products from Univer Foods.

 

Our trip to Hungary introduced us to the great food in Hungary. Your authentic products allow us to capture the tastes and flavor of that great land. Thank you very much!
